RA training has been the most exhausting thing. We get up around 8:30 and have a day filled with lectures on rules and regulations, small activities, and hanging with our staff. We finish at 8 at night, so it basically a twelve hour day. I have never been this tired before. On top of this, we need to get bulletin boards set up, door tags made, and our extra task done by monday. There is literally no free time.

Anyhow, today was our “day away” and my area when to this park about twenty minutes away. We did a lot of bonding activities and then had about four hours to do whatever. I swam in a lake that was greenish; which was cool because there aren’t places like lakes to have recreation on/near in New Jersey. Afterward I went canoeing with some other people and then exploring. It was overall fun bonding and getting to know the staff members more. But I extremely exhausted and I am not even paying attention to the flow of this post. O, and I looked up my residents on facebook and I have a feeling my floor is going to kinda suck again. O well……

So much has happen in the past few days. First thing is that I got a new computer which is sick! Second, for my friends birthday we went out to an all you can eat sushi restaurant. The catch is that I decided to go after smoking so I can eat as much as possible. Damn did it work! I was functional and I kept eating and eating. Like I knew I was full but for some reason I just wanted more. The desert was delicious, fried ice cream. I never had something so good (prob cause I was high). Yup, that was a fun evening. The following night I went to my friends house and I helped him make pot brownies. Because his oven doesn’t work we made them somewhere else and then left. When we got back I ate one. It tasted like a brownie but you could also taste the pot. So I waited for it to kick in and holy shit, is was strong as hell. I started felling it and I wanted to get him before it go worse. By the time I got in bed my head felt so heavy. According to my friend he put in seven ounces. I think he did more. I don’t think I will ever have one of those again. Lastly, last night I got to see most of my friends before I went back to school since one threw a party. It was cool I guess, supposedly someone spiked the drinks and mad people got fucked up. Good times.

Now I am back at school, sitting in a room all by myself. This RA life is going to be really lonely. I really wish I had a roommate/suite-mate. This whole hallway is going to be empty for a week and a half and during that time I am going to be busy has hell preparing for arrival and shit. I drove myself up with all my stuff and I had time to reflect on my summer I guess. I really wish I did more and hung out with people other than my close friends. And as opposed to last year, I really didn’t want to leave home so much. I really miss everyone this time, I don’t know why, I just do.

So my friends and I decided to go do some weird New Jersey. We managed to all fit in one SUV; three in the back, four in the middle, me in shotgun (haha), and our driver. Living in central jersey, we drove an hour and a half north to our first destination in Mahwah called Stag Hill Road. There are suppose to be creepy inbred people who live in shacks that just stare at you when you go. Since it was at night nobody was around but the drive just felt odd. My friend driving stopped the car for some reason and everyone was freaked out. Being the dick that I am, I hit the ceiling of the car and everyone flipped out and screamed. It was so funny for me but everyone else bitched at me. Whimps. So we drove up the road and there wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. The houses seems normal and there was a playground up there too. At the beginning of the road there was a gate that was only accessible by foot. Nobody wanted to get out so we just left and went to the Dunkin Donuts near the road. I was like “good job guys, what a fail”. Then I got bitched at and I decided to just sit in the car while everyone else can talk about me at Dunkin. So I am sitting and sitting and this man comes out of nowhere in the distance and is walking towards the car and I became pretty creeped out. I went inside and to the bathroom to pee. We then decided to go to another place in close by.

We then went over to West Milford to go one Clinton Road. However, on the way there we stopped at another place that is suppose to be haunted. The story is that a guy on the street wanted to have a meeting with everyone else so he invited them over to his house. There, he killed everyone and their houses be empty. Supposedly there is a lot of paranormal activity there as well. Driving up the road there was a woman whose car was in a ditch. By the way it is around midnight. All she is doing is talking pictures… creepy shit. Then we get to the road called New City Road and it was blocked off like crazy. The only way to get in was by foot as well. It was ridiculously freaky. You could not see anything and knowing the legend just it scary. Again, nobody wanted to get out so we left. After driving some more we came to Clinton Road, which has so many stories connected to it. The main one is that at one of the bridges there was a little boy who drowned. If you are there at midnight and throw a penny over the bridge, the penny is suppose to be thrown back at you. There are also sightings over strange creatures, UFO’s, and there is suppose to be a black truck that tails you as fast as your car can go until you are off the road. Well, the road was basically never ending, it just goes on and on and on through the woods. We never found the right bridge, didn’t get run off by a truck, or didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. We were probably there for about and hour just driving on the road. We finally went onto this private dirt road which was fairly creepy, mostly because we were just thinking of all the things that can happen. After some time we finally got back on the main road and headed home. the entire trip was basically a fail; it was kinda fun but nothing really happened, just a good time waster. I just wish we planned and read about this stuff beforehand to know which places to go to and when.
